Thanks for the nod this week for the Lofts at Cherokee Studios. I think it is a special project. It is ironic that I argued long and hard against including a green category in the Slow Home test and that, in the end, the environmental factors distinguished this project. I did this on purpose to prove I wasn’t so anti-green just the devil’s advocate. ;)
To help me clarify the LA townhouse market would you categorize the SUNSET FIVE project in Echo Park as eligible for next week? (5 units, common parking garage, website – http://www.sunsetfive.com/) I submitted this and similar projects 10Palms and SunsetB but now am thinking these are more in line with next week as they have fewer units unlike the Rowan and HollywoodandVine projects. BTW, I thought the Rowan was a great project – more true loft and a killer location in downtown LA.
So if you would clarify what you had in mind for next week that would be great.
Have a good weekend…

Brad,
I think these would qualify under this coming week’s focus because of the size and multi-storey nature of the project. I would recommend resubmitting them.
