The work triangle in a kitchen is defined as the distance between the sink, the refrigerator and the cook top. In a well designed kitchen, the dimensions of any one side of the work triangle is a minimum of 42″ with a maximum dimension of 60″. These dimensions minimize the travel distances required by the cook and create an efficient kitchen plan.
