    I’m continually fascinated by the beauty of this handling of wood siding by Architecture Research Office, an effect they juxtaposed with vertical board and batten on the exterior and also carried inside with exposed sections.  Love it!

    Steve – that is an amazing detail – it looks like pre-cast concrete! Thanks for posting this. The shadow lines create a real masonry-like look. It’s very well executed. I would be very interested to learn more about the rain screen detail behind the siding and how it is installed – it is random or planned out to the inch?
