I’m excited about the new Thursday segment. I’ve been following the design exercises nearly every day since the big relaunch and have been routinely disappointed by Thursdays. Your initiative and willingness to make changes highlight your commitment to education. Though I’m an apartment dweller at the moment, I’m trying to train myself to make good design decisions in the future. You’re providing an excellent resource. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. I am glad you agree with the change to the Thursday schedule. By the way, one of our plans in the not too distant future is to start some kind of segment focused on people who rent and want to learn how they can transform their homes with creative furniture placement.
In any event, your motives are admirable. If we can increase our design literacy, even just a little bit, we will start making better, more sustainable, and more financially reasonable choices. I believe that if enough of us do this the residential industry will respond and we will start to see the beginnings of some real change.
Please let me know what you think of the Thursday segment (or anything else on the site). It will probably take us a few weeks to get it right. Every comment and criticism we receive is much appreciated and taken very seriously.
