This is a beautiful cozy space. From the outside I had thought it would seem claustrophobic, but the wood makes it more of a sleep cubby like the Scandinavians built into their homes, or like a ship’s bed.
I certainly see the wisdom in defining a smaller sleep space; do we really need enormous bedrooms? It just makes us want to overfurnish, yet this z-box has all the necessary light, shelving and bedding in one package. Ingenious yet not kitschy.
