It’s Thursday, October 7th and for those of you who were unable to join us this morning for our live broadcast, click on the video below to see John and Matthew discuss hood fan design.

    The slow homer in me was intrigued by the hanging light as stove fan. It made we want to advocate buying a kit and using a recycled item for the “jewelery”. If you are one that likes to repurpose old items for new uses that would be a great opportunity in the kitchen.

    I’m a big “fan” of the minimalist exhaust hood. I need to research the pros and cons of the charcoal filter design, but until that’s resolved, this clever unit, by Eggersman, is a fav. These pics are from Vancouver’s Olympic Village. When closed, the hood fits right in to the overhead cabinets, then opens for the fan and lights.
